Arthur Garcia Jr. (Mediator & Arbitrator)

With a legal career spanning over three decades and credentials that include recognition from the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, Arthur leads with compassion and wisdom. His background in law, healthcare, and military service shapes a unique, balanced approach to mediation.

Jon M. Herskowitz

Jon M. Herskowitz has been a named partner at Baron & Herskowitz since 2008 and is presently the managing partner of Baron, Herskowitz, and Cohen. Before that time, Jon was a partner in The Herskowitz Law Firm from 1994 to 2008, practicing with his father, Jack L. Herskowitz. Before Jon entered civil practice, he was an Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney’s Office, primarily working in the Major Narcotics Unit.

Evan D. Frankel

Evan D. Frankel has been the managing attorney and president at Frankel Law since 1990. He has represented thousands of clients in litigation matters spanning several different practice areas and has now conducted numerous court-ordered and private mediations.

Cristal Galvez Case Manager

Cristal Galvez studied at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She then went on to work in compliance management, helping to staff temporary hires at Walmart locations undergoing remodeling. Ms. Galvez dove into Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2014 and now has over a decade of experience in case management. She has been Mr. Garcia's right-hand since 2016. In her free time, she loves to strength train at the gym and hang out with her fur-baby, Maddie the Shih Tzu.

Yara Garcia Office Administrator

Yara Garcia is from Brooklyn, NY. Like many others, she was drawn to South Florida for its beautiful weather. She worked as a Litigation Paralegal since 1982 and comes to Mediate with Art after 18 years of service as the Executive Director of the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association. She has been the firm’s Administrator since 2020. When not working, she enjoys the outdoors, boating, fishing, and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.

Megan Figari Director of Business Development

Megan Figari is the newest member of the Mediate with Art team. She studied paralegal studies and Law Office Management at Florida International University. She comes to us with 20 years of experience in legal. She began as a receptionist/assistant, which allowed her to learn the ins and outs of the industry before moving into a paralegal position. She also serves as a non-lawyer member on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee. Megan’s years as a dedicated paralegal in foreclosures, probate, personal injury, aviation, and maritime has given her valuable experience. Megan was ready to advance her career while staying in the legal realm, which has brought her to our firm as our Director of Business Development.
